I think that the scanning board should be attached to the side of the cash register by way of a hinge and a little hook to keep it closed. Also, the bell ringer tends to come un loosened and does not ring. One has to occasionally tighten the bell. Also, the cash register tape tends to become loose and off-center enabling the cash register top not to close correctly.
