The lion is very well-made, and bigger than I expected! We have a small collection of Holztiger and the lion is especially great for stack-ups.
This was our first Holztiger purchase and I didn't pay attention to the size, but this lion is big and beautiful. The kids instinctively treat it with more respect than our smaller plastic toys, as there is a bit of weight to it. Absolutely beautiful and perfect as a gift to a child who may not already be familiar with toys such as these: pair with a book and voila! Gift done.
