At My Toy Wagon, we believe the best children's toys inspire little ones to tell stories, develop new ways of thinking, and explore emotions. That said, we want to bring more attention to heirloom wooden toys. We are launching an Instagram Challenge and calling it #storytellingwithwoodentoys.

For our first challenge, we are spotlighting Drewart Toys, a Polish toymaker that has been crafting heirloom wooden toys for over 40 years and sparking imagination in children around the world. In our home, it is Drewart’s stunning dollhouse that gets played with daily. It transforms the girls' playroom into an impromptu theater where they can act out social situations, imagine different perspectives and roles, and explore emotions. It doesn't look too shabby, either.

We want to hear from you! What are your favorite Drewart pieces and how do you style them? To enter our Challenge, post a picture of your favorite Drewart piece(s) set up or styled for play and tag @mytoywagon and @elizabethhomen; don't forget to add the hashtag #storytellingwithwoodentoys. The person who publishes the best or most engaging post will receive a $250 e-gift card at mytoywagon.com. The gift card can be used on any item in our shop, including Drewart Toys!  See what's been posted so far.

Challenge Rules

• POST a photo (or an Instagram Story or Reel) of how you style or set up your favorite Drewart toy for play (Updated: any one is fine!)
• TAG @mytoywagon and @elizabethhomen
• ADD hashtag #storytellingwithwoodentoys. Each post counts as an entry and increases your chances of winning!

The Important Details: This Campaign is open only to those who enter via Instagram and who are located in the United States. Participants must be 18 Years or Older. In addition, your Instagram account must be public to participate! Multiple entries permitted. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the discretion of My Toy Wagon. My Toy Wagon reserves the right to end this promotion at any time, for any reason. 

The Challenge will start on Wednesday, May 10 and run until 12 Noon PST on Saturday, June 10, 2023. The winner will be posted at 8 PM PST on Sunday, June 11 via DM on Instagram. The prize must be claimed within 48 hours of contact, or it will be forfeited. 

Prize: The Winner of the Challenge (“Winner”) will receive a $250 E-Gift Card that can be redeemed at mytoywagon.com. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for My Toy Wagon to use Winner’s hashtag and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
