This felt mat is made of premium New Zealand wool felt, hand-felted dense enough to be unrolled, bunched up, and crawled across for years. Wool takes hard use and only softens with age, with no plastic to crack or peel. Built to outlast the ocean stories told on it.

Materials & construction

Each piece is made from 100% New Zealand wool, hand-felted and finished without plastics or synthetic binders. Because every piece is made by hand, slight variation in shape and color is natural and expected. Made by skilled Nepali women artisans working with high-quality wool, to designs created by Little Brood.

The dyes are non-toxic and child-safe.

Care & storage

Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Do not submerge in water, machine wash, or wring: the hand-felted fibers will shrink and lose their shape permanently if saturated. Air dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. Store flat in a dry place.
