Materials & construction

Each Fairyshadow duckling necklace is sewn and finished by hand in a small studio in Bodega, California, in limited batches. The duckling is made from soft cotton knit velour, 80% cotton and 20% polyester, and lifts out of an egg pocket made from 100% wool felt, strung on a 24 inch satin cord with a break-away clasp.

Because everything is handmade, small details vary a little from one to the next.

Small parts and a cord. Intended for ages 3 and up, and young children should be supervised during play.

This necklace has a break-away clasp designed to pop open when pulled. For safety, remove it before active play, and children should never sleep wearing it. Small parts; not for children under 3.

Care & storage

Spot clean only with a barely damp cloth, and let it air dry fully. Do not machine wash, soak, or submerge. Keep it out of direct sun, and store somewhere dry. The break-away clasp is designed to pop open when pulled; remove the necklace before active play, and children should never sleep wearing it. Small parts, not for children under 3.
