We carry the Fairyshadow leaf necklaces because a child will wear a story they can hold. The leaf and its bug are sewn by hand, and the soft cord has a break-away clasp for safety; there is nothing printed or plastic to wear out. Materials & construction

Each Fairyshadow leaf necklace is sewn and finished by hand in a small studio in Bodega, California, in limited batches. The little love bug is made of cotton knit fabric, a cotton and polyester blend, over a wooden base, with a face drawn by hand in permanent, non-toxic ink. He lifts out of a leaf pocket made from 100% wool felt, strung on a 22 inch satin cord with a break-away clasp. Choose from teal, turquoise, purple, raspberry pink, red, orange, and golden yellow.

Colors follow what is on hand, so the exact shade may vary slightly.

Small parts. Intended for ages 3 and up, and young children should be supervised during play.
