Materials & construction

Each Fairyshadow fairy baby is sewn and finished by hand in a small studio in Bodega, California, in limited batches, so no two faces are quite alike. She is made from soft cotton knit velour, 80% cotton and 20% polyester, with felt petal wings and a hanging thread.

Faces are drawn by hand in permanent, non-toxic ink in the simple Waldorf style. Colors follow what is on hand, so the exact shade may vary slightly from one fairy to the next.

Small parts. Intended for ages 3 and up, and young children should be supervised during play.

Care & storage

Spot clean only with a barely damp cloth, and let her air dry fully. Do not machine wash, soak, or submerge, since the velour holds water. Keep her out of direct sun to protect the colors, and store somewhere dry. Small parts, not for children under 3, and supervise young children during play.

Fairyshadow Fairyshadow is a tiny studio on the coast of Northern California, in Bodega, making Waldorf-inspired dolls, ornaments, and critter necklaces by hand.
