Materials & construction

Maple, left untreated where the wood is bare and hand-painted where it is colored. Her face and hands are raw maple rather than finished, which is why the grain reads through. The walking stick is a separate wooden dowel that slots through her hand and lifts out.

Care & storage

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Keep it out of standing water and away from direct heat. Put the walking stick back in her hand before she goes away, since it is the piece most likely to go missing.
