This moon crater playscape is the first of our many space-themed felt toys. To make the play more interesting, this moon playscape comes with a needle-felted astronaut in NASA space suit. 

Check out the texture of the moon craters, they have been meticulously created not by asteroids, but by the hands of artisans from Nepal.

This listing is only for the moon playscape play mat and an astronaut. Book and planet toys are not included.

    Moon Crater with Astronaut Space Playscape

    I purchased this space playscape for my preschool students, as we are currently learning about outer space in the classroom. Students are using this playscape to create and act out their own space missions (we also added other planets and a rocket ship). It's been a wonderful prop for engaging students and encouraging them in using their imagination and creativity in play. The felt material is of high quality and seems like it'll be sturdy enough for years to come.

    Out of this world playscape

    This beautifully crafted playscape is a change from the more common fairytale styles of mushrooms, meadows, and rivers. Really well made and quite large!
