Suited to children aged three and up, through the Pre-K and early primary years.

Why it lasts.

We carry Tender Leaf because they build little worlds with a conscience: designed in England under award-winning toy designer Danielle Hanson, handcrafted by an ethical family-run workshop in Indonesia from reclaimed rubberwood, and finished in toxic-free, water-based paints. For every toy sold, they plant a tree. A world in every box, and a tree in the ground behind it.

Ways to play.

Float the otters down an imaginary river and moor up for supper. Tuck the family into their sleeping bags, tend the row of vegetables on deck, and let the story wander from one riverbank to the next.

What families found.

Loved it!

Our river boat is so fantastic! Well made and I had the best time playing with my two yr old granddaughter with it!! Leans itself well to play acting .
Just love it and will probably add more to her collection at some point.

Materials & construction

Solid rubberwood and plywood, finished with toxic-free, water-based paints in Tender Leaf's soft palette. Every piece is cut generously for small hands and sanded smooth. Handcrafted by an ethical, family-run workshop in Indonesia, and Tender Leaf plants a tree for every toy sold.

Care & storage

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry. No soaking and no dishwasher.

Kept out of direct sun, the water-based colors hold their softness for years.
