This beautifully handcrafted wooden ocean animal set features 4 handcrafted, artisan-made animals: Tallulah Turtle, Stevie Starfish, Scen Seahorse, and Skye Shark.

Meet Tallulah Turtle. Tallulah has just excavated a giant pit with her own flippers... and laid 100 eggs in it. Tallulah is a productive lady. Tallulah loves both a play tray and a small world 

Meet Stevie Starfish. Stevie may have no brain and no blood but their ability to regenerate limbs is an actual spidey power. Stevie can also eat outside of their body - what a fun dinner date.

Meet Sven Seahorse. Sven inhabits tropical and temperate coastal waters and enjoys a good courtship dance with his lady love. He also takes on pregnancy and birth; releasing up to 2000 fry at a time. What a guy.

Adorable Details

I love the intricate details on each of the animals. I also love the larger size. It makes it easier for my younger kids to grasp. However, I really with they were double sided. I didnt realize when purchasing them that they would be flat in one side.

Lovely details

My granddaughter is enjoying her “under the sea” play scape with these wooden sea creatures. She especially enjoys the shark! I like the details- fins, eye, nose, gills and even a sensory line where sharks can feel fish swimming around them. The details are subtle giving the pieces a lovely wood look! I also appreciate that the figures stand and can be placed in the playscape vertically.

I was a tad disappointed to see that only one side is finished. The back is flat without detail. But this is minor compared to all the positive qualities.

The workmanship is top notch! They are made out of pine and feel lighter than her other wooden figures. So far, they are holding up to play with a three year old.

I did buy them on sale and highly recommend them, especially at the sale price.
