The riverbank might not be where the rabbits start this day, but for a moose calf a drink of cool water is almost the best way to start the day. Nose rubs are still the best!
As we greet the sun, share stories of dreams, of adventures in Dreamland and the way our minds make sense of the puzzles we have yet to solve while we sleep.
Bumbu animal figurines are designed, cut and painted by hand in Romania using different varieties of Romanian hardwood. Each piece is unique and we pour a lot of love, passion and time in everything we make. We use high quality products to ensure each piece will be a worthy partner for even the more adventurous partners in play. Aș a small family-run business, we employ local artisans in an effort to sustain the local economy and help preserve local craftsmanship. In an effort to perfect our product and ensure our toys are as inclusive as possible, we consult a psychologist who specializes in early child development and intervention during our design process. After sanding and hand painting we use an organic oil to prevent sweat and saliva from damaging the wood.
