What is in each of the eight sections, who it is for, and how the kits are put together.
Each section is an ecosystem: a set of materials chosen to work together in one part of a room, rather than a shelf of similar products. We work with about forty independent makers across four continents, and most of what we sell is made to order.
Prices are the same for every buyer. There is no separate educator price and no quantity break, so what you see is what your quote will say.
Sectioned maple trays from Button & Bug, designed by a licensed pediatric occupational therapist and made in a small Michigan workshop, with sand trays, a rockpool tray and tongs, and the Self-Regulation Set. Trays are cut to the designs you choose, so they are made to order and cannot be returned.
Mostly Papoose: loose-parts trays, the Earth-Palette Classification Hub, botanical specimen labs, tinker trays and seasonal sets. The Whole Nature Table gathers a tray, inserts, tools and specimens into one station.
Tara Treasures felt play mats and habitats, the story-time puppet sets , Five Little Ducks, Five Little Monkeys, Five Little Speckled Frogs, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Old MacDonald , and the Gruffalo story kit, playscape mat and finger puppets. Gus + Mabel and Himalayan Felt add caves and forest scenes.
Largely Bumbu: carved trees, cliffs, terrain and animal families, with Tara Treasures life-cycle sets for bean plant, butterfly, chicken, frog, honey bee and dinosaur. Built to provision an investigation table on one purchase order.
The largest section, and the one districts most often buy per classroom. Bumbu castles and folk, Magic Wood treehouses, Grapat gnomes and nins, and fairy villages built house by house.
Bauspiel optical, mirror and lucent blocks for light-table work, color tracks and transparent windows; Connetix magnetic tiles, including the Education tubs and the ball run; kaleidoscopes and Papoose Goethe color work; and the Deep Time dinosaurs, eggs and volcano, with life-cycle sets and a Q Toys microscope.
Tara Treasures felt food in classroom quantity, the Cow Shed, market stalls and shopping collections, and wooden tractors and trolleys for the home corner.
Flower presses, lacing cards, eco-dough, mineral-pigment paints and eco-cutters for art rooms, ateliers and makerspaces.
Kits are assembled so that one kit outfits one classroom. If you are furnishing eight rooms or fifteen, order the kit at that quantity rather than looking for a larger set.
Where a room has one high-value anchor, a tree house or a castle, we keep it off the kit so you can take fewer of those than of everything else. Budgets rarely stretch to one of each per room, and a kit that forces it costs you rooms.
Each kit page names every item inside it with quantities, so your business office can see what one room receives before approving fifteen of them.
A kit draws on several workshops at once, so its window is set by the longest lead inside it rather than the average. Where that matters, ask and we will split the kit so the fast parts arrive first.
Most buyers do not start from a product list. Tell us the age group, how many rooms, roughly what you want to spend, and any date you are working to, and we will put the quote together and flag anything that cannot make your date.
