Designed for imaginative storytelling, this handcrafted felt play mat brings to life the scenes where the clever Mouse encounters the Fox, Owl, and Snake before outwitting The Gruffalo.

Explore the adventure:

  • The Fox’s Underground House – A cave where the sly Fox tries to invite the Mouse for lunch.
  • The Owl’s Tree – A grand tree stump where the wise old Owl hopes to have the Mouse for tea.
  • The Snake’s Logpile House – A log pile home where the slippery Snake tempts the Mouse to feast.

The logs and trees are removable, allowing children to rearrange them or use them as play pieces on their own. This interactive design encourages creative storytelling, problem-solving, and open-ended play.

Each element is carefully handcrafted by skilled women artisans in Nepal using 100 percent New Zealand wool and azo-free dyes, making it a safe, sustainable, and ethical choice for playtime.
