The Fagus' basic wooden toy truck (unimog) is a perfect introduction to the fagus  world.  Real rubber tires give the truck a realistic look and ensure that it is built to last. The handle on the truck's cab can be turned to change the direction of the Unimog's front wheels, and also provides a good handle for young hands. The loading tray in the back of the truck can be used to transport cargo from one place to another. The truck comes with two peg dolls that can ride in the driver's cabin.  The unimog can later be upgraded with various extensions or attachments, including the snow plow, street sweeper and crane extension (all sold separately). The wonderful wooden cars and trucks by Fagus are made of beech wood (the Latin word fagus=beech) in a workshop that trains and hires the disabled to produce these durable, heirloom wooden toys. Fagus wooden toys are made without nails, screws or staples, and are interlocked, doweled and glued together.
